- Preparation of control concept of the plant.
- Identification of number of control rooms, type of microprocessor controls, control loops, system architecture for central control system.
- Preparation of detailed specification and tender document and assistance to the customer for the evaluation of the bids for the execution of the control and instrumentation system on turn key basis for the following equipment.
- Microprocessor based color graphic control system comprising CPUs, Input/Output racks both for plant and supervisory level controls, including uninterrupted power supply system.
- Field sensors and process instruments for temperature, pressure, level, flow etc.
- Special process instruments like CCTV, Ultrasonic level detectors, electronic ear etc.
- Instrument power distribution boards/junction boxes/Instrument panels, impulse piping and erection hardware’s.
- Review and Scrutinize the GA drawings, control schematics, interface diagrams, I/O addresses etc, in line with the technical specifications.
- Detailed design and schemes for the control and Instrumentation engineering as per the details given below :
- Process & Instrumentation diagrams.
- Main plant flow sheet.
- Block Interlocking diagrams for material handling sections
- Cabling concept for control & instrumentation cables
- Interfacing diagrams for PC controlled drives
- Interfacing diagrams for sub-control systems to be supplied by main machinery suppliers
- Details of close loop controls for optimizing plant operation in various process departments
- Control cable schedules and termination details for electrical drives
- Mimic diagrams
- Layout of control rooms.
- Typical mounting arrangement of process instruments to be mounted in the field
- GA drawings showing location of field mounted instruments
- Cable routing details for control & instrumentation cables
- Preparation of Detailed bill of quantities for the Refractory and Insulation system for all the equipments of the plant.
- Preparation of tender documents giving the specifications, General conditions of contract, special conditions of contract--etc and invite the bidders for finalizing the Refractory and Insulation contractor.
- Erection Supervision
- Deputation of consultant engineers for the supervision of site fabrication and erection of all main and auxiliary machinery equipment by the contractors/erectors appointed by the customer for the smooth execution of the project.
- All the services for Basic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, civil engineering, Construction supervision/management, Erection supervision given in annexure - 1 (semi turnkey mode) will remain unaltered.
