- Prepare final layout and flow sheet based on the main machinery selected, approved preliminary layout and flow sheet, electrical and auxiliary equipment with proper code.
- Review and approve the General arrangement drawings prepared by the suppliers for various process departments to coordinate the project activities concerning different equipment suppliers and to ensure that they meet the requirements as laid down in the respective specifications.
- Participation in the meetings with the customer, main equipment suppliers, Auxiliary equipment suppliers.
- Review and approve the general arrangement drawings prepared by the equipment supplier for ducting and chutes.
- Review & approve the plate fabrication drawings for all chutes, ducts prepared by the supplier/Contractors.
- Preparation of general arrangement drawings between the departments uncovered in the equipment supplier scope and the interconnecting/hook-up drawings as required for the completion of engineering properly as a whole.
- Review and scrutinize of water supply system drawings including bill of materials required for the plant operation.
- Review and scrutinize of compressed air supply system drawings including bill of materials required for the plant operation
- Coordination with the drawings supplied by the various equipment suppliers and to see that all the necessary drawings required for the project are supplied.
- Preparation of tender documents giving the specifications, General conditions of contract, special conditions of contract--etc and invite the bidders for finalizing the fabrication and errection contractor.
- Evaluate the bids received and prepare the comparative statement and assist M/s orient cement to select the contractor.
- Preparation of BOQ section wise and advise the customer for Material procurement action.
- Review and check the load data, anchor plan and other engineering data supplied by the equipment supplier.
- Review and scrutinize of drawings for the submission to factory Inspectorate and authorities for their approval.
- Review and scrutinize of as built drawings incorporating the site instructions and submissions of the same in the soft copy.
